Pyxis provides an exciting, rewarding, and professional work environment where all individuals are highly valued and respected.
Pyxis is excited to sponsor a benefits program for all eligible employees. These benefits are an important part of employees’ compensation at Pyxis and represent a large financial commitment by the company. The company hopes that these benefits will enhance employees’ job satisfaction. Some benefits are provided at no cost to the employee; others may require a contribution. Pyxis will provide information and summaries about benefits to all plan participants and beneficiaries on a continuing basis.
Pyxis is committed to providing fair and competitive wages. In addition to all applicable federal and state labor and employment laws, (i.e. FMLA, Military leave, Workers Compensation), Pyxis benefits for eligible full-time employees include:
To assist qualifying employees in planning for future retirement, Pyxis offers a 401(K) plan.
In the unfortunate event of a death in the immediate family, Pyxis will provide a paid bereavement leave of up to three days to full-time employees.
Pyxis offers all employees a convenient direct-deposit program in which employees can choose to have their paychecks deposited directly into their checking or savings accounts. Employees who take advantage of this option receive a pay stub instead of a paper check on payday.
Full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays. Pyxis observes the following seven holidays and associated day:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- The Friday following Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
If the holiday falls on a weekend, employees may schedule another day off with the approval of their supervisor. Pyxis offices close early on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Good Friday.
Pyxis believes that jury duty is an important civic responsibility. To encourage jury duty, the company will pay employees their normal rate of pay for jury duty time served.
Full time employees accumulate PTO on a bi-weekly basis. PTO can be used for time off to fit the needs of the employee.
Employees may set aside, tax-free, a portion of their salary for specific benefits. These benefits include the employee’s portion of health insurance premiums, dependent care assistance, medical reimbursements, etc.
